Our Alliance was formed almost 10 years ago in response to the closure of two coal mines and a downturn in the forestry industry that was adversely affecting communities across our region. We met that challenge head-on by taking a proactive approach. That commitment continues today.
While GAER itself does not offer labour initiatives specifically, we connect people in our communities to jobs and opportunities within the region with online tools in our Find Work Section.
